It’s so neat to see these giant structures from so long ago just standing clear and head and shoulders above all the other buildings. I really wonder if the people who live there treat them as just Meh. Because they get to see them every day or do they still get struck in awe.

It's odd to see the Pyramids surrounded by homes, businesses, and roads. I've never been, so in my mind's eyes, they're massive, intriguing, stone triangles in a barren desert. I like them better in my imagination.
