I’m not very savvy with DnD so forgive me. But I was talking to one of my friends and we mentioned the name Gary Gygax. My grandma drops the old delusional “Oh, Gary? Used to be good friends with him. A sweet man.” I didn’t believe her so she deadass calls Luke Gygax (his son) in her contacts. She met him in Chicago at her school. They became good friends and she spent a ton of time with his family and they would mail back and forth. She showed me the signed book for my dad too and some letters.

That’s insanely cool. I’d love to have that, but I’m sure it would be much more appreciated by you, or someone who’s played that edition.

As valuable as that is. That book should be kept in that family. That's one in a kind. You're a lucky dude.
