Will they actually have to pay this? Or will it be caught up in litigation for years and years to come? Genuine question.

There is more of this than just social media. Per Inside Edition, this couple even went on TV to bash this woman, and it effectively destroyed her business. They had not lived up to the contractual agreement or payment and wanted to bash her every way they could out of spite. This entitled couple deserves to lose all of that money. They intended to harm this person's means of making a living. They should have those types of financial damages returned against them. It was not a 1st amendment issue. It was a act of malice. Here is a regular news story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlTQQwIMPuI

A friend of mine is a photographer who did a wedding once, her business suddenly had over a hundred negative Yelp reviews from that one wedding, and one day all the reviews suddenly disappeared. The best we can come up with is that the couple made a bunch of accounts to make all the reviews and were caught when Yelp noticed that all the accounts had the same IP address.
