Beautiful. 🥺 There’s an organization here in the U.S. with 48 different chapters called Free Mom Hugs. I wonder if this wonderful dad is affiliated.
Members include moms, dads and allies — and they go around doing just this at community events (and provide resources and educational materials.)
They also offer “temporary financial assistance for emergency housing, food, clothing, travel expenses and court costs related to name changes, etc” for LGBTQ+ folks in need.

I'm not gay but my dad has never given hugs and was quite abusing to me growing up. I'd appreciate a hug from a dad like this.

At 39 and a half I think I'd be hugging people too old to consider me dad stand-in. Maybe in a decade or two I could spread this locally.
