I just picture the game from the POV of the demons. I wonder if that music is like an aura around Doomslayer, like the suit has speakers that just blast at full volume. The demons hear him coming, and know that their fate is sealed. Doomguy is to the demons those deliberately unwinnable boss battles in a JRPG.
Praise to the game developers for having created one of the most badass videogame protagonist from a pretty conventional storyline and without using one-liners.
