I see a tank battle badge, a “general assault” badge, a “wounded in action” badge, a “Memel medal,” and the Iron Cross [EDIT: the pre-WW2 version] of course. It might not be a story you’re happy about, but it looks like there’s a HELL of a story here. I’m not saying you should glorify it (OF COURSE) but you shouldn’t get rid of this stuff.
