I used to work in an office with only one black guy. One day a customer called in and asked for the person who just left him a message.
I said,"sure did you happen to catch his name?" He said, "no but he was black." I turned to my colleague and said, "Uhh so hey this customer wants to talk to the black guy that just left him a message."
I worked at a Gamestop like store for several years. I had similar conversations way to many times.
Weirdly the whole Link/Zelda thing wasn't really a thing. But so many people wanted to argue they played X game that is exclusive to X console on Y console.
