I was moving a bookshelf that he built for me a long time ago, along with some other furniture he built for me over the years.
I had never looked under the bookcase itself but obviously while carrying it up the stairs got a real treat.
My grandfather was the greatest influence in my life & I miss him daily. This was an amazing find!
EDIT: I understand not everyone can read cursive so this is what the message says “For Ellery–with more love than you can imagine–Grandpa”
