For clarification - there have been many warnings over the weekend about today’s storm. My mother has not driven today and she certainly doesn’t know how it is up north. My sister was supposed to wait it out until tomorrow evening but my mother changed her mind and wants her to come home in the middle of it.

It is my mother’s vehicle but she does this a lot, about other things too. She changes her mind (in this case, about when to come home) to make things difficult and ignores the blind truth. Now I’m afraid this time it’ll put my sister in danger by being out on the roads.

Tell her ass to Uber out there and get it herself.

This literal, exact thing happened to me when I was younger. Except it was my car, that she used against my will as her commute vehicle. (She thought she had right to priority of my vehicle that I paid for and maintained and gassed, because she co-signed.) I ended up getting stuck in the snow and having to have my now brother in law come help me out, she didn't talk to me for days until I was able to get home, where she snatched my keys and continued the silent treatment.
