For those who haven't seen it, this is a deep dive that McCarthy did with Peter King about how he's spent his year away from football.
I have no idea if this will work out or not, but you have to respect the drive to improve and the willingness to self-evaluate-especially for a guy who's won a SB already. I'm going to guess he probably could have gotten a cushy media job and made good money for the year and still been a serious contender for new jobs this off-season.

Even if the guy isn't black and white different than Garrett, unless he's pure trash there's gotta be some "newness" confidence right? Hopefully just the change of atmosphere rejuvenates these dudes. Because we got some DUDES.
