It came from a relative in the truck parts business. It's marked 4 1/4 inches, Armstrong tools. I've never known if it was actually useful or simply a novelty, sales gimmic, or similar. If it was used, what was the purpose?
Totally functional. I work at the Federal Reserve and "the old vault" is an attraction, they have the original tools on display as well; there is a wrench bigger than me and I'm 5'9"
