I feel bad that he just wanted to be in the show, the problem though is that it wasn’t just a cameo, the problem was that they stopped the story for “character building” for a celebrity cameo when there wasn’t time for it, no one cared about that one and done character, and it really didn’t contribute anything to Arya’s character either.
I didn’t know who it was at the time as I don’t listen to his music, but now that I know it feels like that part in a sitcom where the guest actor appears and the recording of the audience claps for a solid minute.
