If you look at the actual article, they are talking about the 2080 MaxQ. Which according to userbenchmark is about on par with a Rx 5700

Oh my god!

Guys have you heard that a $700 GPU is going to beat a console that's predicted to be roughly the same price????????????

Can someone help me out here. I've seen articles like this pop up the last few days.

NVIDIA Says GeForce RTX GPUs Are Faster Than Next-Gen Consoles NVIDIA Shows That Their GeForce RTX GPUs are Much Faster and More Powerful Than Next-Gen Consoles Nvidia claims RTX 2080 Max-Q laptops are faster than next-gen game consoles NVIDIA says its GeForce RTX series graphics cards are faster than the unreleased next-gen consoles

Yet in all of these articles, I cannot find a single quote from the keynote from an NVIDIA spokesperson saying "Oh yeah, we're faster than consoles".

Can someone guide me to the timestamp in the keynote where the claim is made? I keep seeing all these people saying "Duh", "CoMpArinG tOtallY dIfFErent PricE pOints" etc, but as far as I can tell- the news outlets simply made that somewhat controversial comparison to bait discussion + reader engagement.
