How the hell does the sand stay? I’ve always wondered. Hairspray? Is it mixed with glue?

Feels like this particular one wins every sand sculpture competition in the US. That or it just gets reposted every few months
Also if you make something patriotic, Americans are more inclined to vote for it

I’m not sure who first used the Lincoln Memorial as editorial content but Bill Mauldin won a Pulitzer for his cartoon on the JFK assassination. Jackie Kennedy requested a reprint. They sold the newspaper folded backwards with the cartoon displayed.
