First time in my life I've ever stood up to my psycho dad and this is his response. To cut me out of his will. Go right ahead!

I had a similar thing happen in my family. It was over great grandparents wills... It didn't directly affect me. But when 2 sides of the family are fighting over a 98 year old man's belongings... While he is alive and well. Made me feel sick. How the family just turned into a pack of wolves.

Death threats where sent, and now the family is broken for good.

“ I’m cutting you out of the will!” seems to be a war cry from a particular generation. My late mother used it all the time, and my stepmom trots it out too. Fortunately my siblings and their spouses all just shrug and say “It’s your money. Do what you want.” Maybe there’s some idea that we have to have our parents’ after-death leftovers to enrich ourselves? I don’t know.

I believe you because my mother said the same thing to me.

She couldn’t possibly have done it in the evening as she said, but sure enough I eventually found out that she left everything to the RSPCA and her cats to a shelter.

🤷🏼‍♀️ Meh. I’ve lived this long without it, I can go the rest of my life.

Chin up. It’s not worth even thinking about.
