Learn about electronics! Unfortunately the days for stripping and repairing broken components are mostly gone. I started as a diesel mechanic, but re trained to specialise in electronics and diagnostic. Electric cars are and will change the game completely! So the trade will need to change too! I don’t miss rebuilding engines!

Get into fixing the big stuff, it’s where the money is. Keep the imports as a passion, it wears off quick if you fix them every day.
