Yeah, but we likely won’t see it for possibly several years. CDPR are perfectionists when it comes to their games. They’d rather take a long time in development getting it right than ship a game with issues that they have to constantly patch.
They'd have to take it in a completely new direction. As much as I absolutely adore the witcher 3, it was wrapped up so nicely that I'm not sure I want to see another sequel. There's something to be said when a series ends on it's own terms.

To be honest I don't even really want a prequel. In fact, I would prefer that geralt isn't in the game at all. I think Witcher 3 tied up all the stories nicely, so "true end" should be left alone.
