Here is a less cropped version of this image. The source is Nancy Pelosi's Facebook page. Per there:

50 years ago today, I was a young Trinity College student standing outside in the sunlit cold, listening to a young President’s inaugural call to 'the energy, the faith, the devotion...that will light our country and all who serve it – and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.' The leadership of President John F. Kennedy is not just a memory, but a living force that still asks every citizen to lead—and perhaps that is the most precious gift of all.

To all the great posts here lamenting the passage of time, and how quickly it goes... I'm seemingly older than most here... Just turned sixty. It went like that...Have friends from their twenties to their 80s. The physical decline sucks, for sure. Eat right, exercise, honor your body. Then let it go. I lost family and friends in my 20s, my 30s, 40s and 50s and will lose more in time. Many friends died young. Honor them. Put your efforts into positive things that will carry forward. Teach, mentor, share your experience. Be nice... people remember and remind you when you least expect it. I'm a music teacher, and my students keep me stoked. I keep them stoked. What matters is what we leave. The rest is the greatest mystery. No one cares how old you were when you helped them out. Age really is just a number. Have a blessed 2020, redditors.

Edit: Holy cow!! Had no idea this post would get so many reads/upvotes, etc. Thanks to you all. We're all on this little planet together....there is no plan B in the foreseeable future. Fight the power and love each other. Wishing everyone here a blessed year, and a blessed life.
