One time I ordered a chicken taco, at a super busy place in New York. Person taking my order was Asian, and didn’t know it was pronounced po yo, called it po lo. Ended up being the best taco I’ve ever had.
Edit: asked my sister if she remembered, it’s Los Tacos in Chelsea market.
I was about to make a remark on the funny names americans give to their taco chains, since they're based on stereotypes and so on, then I remembered we (mexicans) have a texan bbq chain called "Pinche Gringo BBQ".
