Hippo will be fine. He’s got a great immune system. Swims in water filled with shit daily.

I wonder if it actually is as bad as it looks, or if the visual effect is cranked up via the blood sweat hippos excrete.

Just want to add that hippos have ridiculously thick skin, this would be like one of us getting scratched by a cat.
And I mean technically so did the hippo but you know what I mean.
