Confession time: I thought these stores were the places that sold coats and have the thing you can stand in that replicates cold temperatures so you can see how well your potential coat does in extreme temperatures. I was wondering why they were popping up everywhere, because how many extreme coat stores does one need? About three months ago it was pointed out to me that 5 below wasn’t about degrees, but cost, and it’s similar to a Dollar Tree. It was a very eye opening moment.
