Recently, We informed you Pokemon sword made a record of the fastest-selling game in the middle east. Now after a great success, We’re going to share with you an interesting report. Pokemon Sword and shield outperform Ultrasun, Ultramoon, Sun and Moon, Let’s Go and X and Y.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: 167.5k

According to the report, this game continues to sell at a higher rate than previous installments of the series. If we compare the sales it has had in its second full week, which amount to 275,959 more units , we can see that it maintains a higher sales rate than other deliveries.

Pokemon sword/shield outsell PIKACHU / EEVEE in just 10 days

Last week, the sales of Pokemon sword and shield in Japan increased by 382,540 units (total sales of 17,400,84 units), it has beaten Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu/Eevee (1,661,155 units sold as of last week) took only 10 days. Please note that this number is only used for physical copies and download cards.

Of course, if you include digital sales, the situation may be different, but this does highlight how incredible the new Pokémon game has been so far; the pokemon sword/shield launched on November 15, 2019, but the Let’s Go games have had almost a year longer on sale, launching on 16th November 2018 .

Here's hoping the "Wild Area" turns into a full blown open world someday. Not holding my breath though.

We can probably expect an "Ultra" Sword and Shield soon too, I wonder what they will add/improve there.

Sun was the first Pokémon game I gave up on playing. Not sure why, because I loves the new style, but it just didn’t grasp me like the other Pokémon games I played. Still need to pick up Sword.

Not surprised, the Switch itself is already a huge hit on Japan.
