I’m 21 and have been dealing with this and MUCH WORSE for years. I have no idea how to trust my thoughts/feelings because sometimes he’s nice. He has completely eroded my sense of self and self-worth. I’m on the verge of cutting him off.

Hey dude, I’m a dad of 4 and that’s a shitty way to treat anyone, let alone your kid. Parents should only be there to make their children feel safe, loved, and protected. Discipline is part of those things, but this is not discipline. This is shaming you. A parent should never lead by fear or punish with shame. I’m sorry you’ve had to experience this for so long.
