It's a short clip, but TLDL:
Franzen was playing injured in the playoffs
Unbeknownst to Babcock and Franzen's teammates, Franzen was dealing with concussion issues and depression (possibly exacerbated by brain trauma)
Babcock tore into him on the bench to the point where Chelios considered it verbal assault
Franzen had a nervous breakdown on the bench that continued postgame
Leadership group didn't do anything about it, as far as we know
When second-guessing about Babcock got to Holland, Holland came down to the locker room and gave a speech in support of Babcock, telling the team that if they didn't like Babcock and wanted to be moved, then to come see him and he would try to make it happen

WTF Franzen was such a beast for Detroit esp in the playoffs before the injuries too. They didn't call him the mule for nothing.
