They why they don’t know where to go with him. Superman wouldn’t be putting up with modern bullshit. And if Superman decides the system is the problem, there’s not a goddamn thing anyone could do to stop him from tearing it down.
It’s not that they can’t write for him and make him relevant, the real problem is they can’t figure out a way to make him profitable like Marvel *Cinematic Universe movies.
