Tumblr REALLY hates this guy. A few years ago, somebody randomly accused him of being a child molester. I think the hate stems from the fact that he makes romance novels about teenagers, even though he's not the first to do it.
Every time I see hate thrown at John Green, I’m astonished. John and Hank Green are 2 of the nicest, most humble, and most genuine guys out there. Their YouTube videos back and forth to each other (which is why each brother starts off by saying “Hey John” or “Hey Hank”. They were supposed to be vlogs to one another.) were thoughtful, well constructed, and overall wholesome. John seems to take most of it in stride though. I mean, dude writes YA novels. I’m sure he expects the drama that comes with that audience and their parents.
