Arlington, Tx. -- The Buffalo Bills shocked the country on Thursday, beating “America’s Team,” the Dallas Cowboys, 26-15, in dominant fashion to highlight the Thanksgiving Day slate of games.

The Bills hadn’t played on Thanksgiving in 25 years and delivered CBS the biggest ratings they’ve had in 27 years with an average of 32.538 million viewers. The game was the highest-rated regular season game on any network in three years.

Last season’s Washington vs. Dallas game did 30.524 million on average when the game was on FOX.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen turned in his most memorable performance of his young career. He completed a career high 79 percent of his throws, nearly 15 percent better than Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who entered the game as the NFL’s leading passer.

In his return to Dallas, Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley caught Allen’s only touchdown pass on a 25-yard connection that opened the scoring for the Bills. Beasley finished with a season-high 110 receiving yards on six receptions. Allen also rushed for a touchdown and Buffalo scored their third touchdown on a double reverse, receiver pass from John Brown to running back Devin Singletary.

The Bills play the Baltimore Ravens in nine days back in Orchard Park, N.Y.

That’s why Jerry was extra pissed. He knew record crowds were watching this beat down.
