Everyone doesn't leave up Christmas decorations year round?

We would put a sheet of newspaper on top of the tree in the box. I was looking at the two sheets that were four years apart (early 70's) and noticed there was a short story about the same guy being arrested, guess the holidays were hard for him.

I buy a real tree every year, even though I'm allergic to it.

Every day throughout the Christmas season the tree and I watch each other die, and every year so far I have outlasted the tree and made it through another season.

It's festive.
