I hope you get to spend as much time as you can with your dad. Mine passed without any notice and despite 20 years of not having a good relationship I miss every day. I'd give anything to talk to him or my mom again. Please dont miss out, I know hospitals suck and seeing him like that isint awesome but remember he is still here so talk to him as much as you can. Please hug him for me.

I love that they dressed up! Makes it feel almost as though you’re in a concert hall. I’m sure the patients really appreciate that.

my son's boy scout troop did caroling at the local nursing home. it was so sweet to hear the boys and see the smiles of the residents. it's not like they sounded great, but the spirit of their intentions was just infectious.
