Not quite the same but another strange coincidence when my mother was a little girl a mirror at a department store fell on her and shattered, she was losing a lot of blood there so happened to be a nurse present who helped to control the bleeding until paramedics arrived. My mother became a teacher and one of her students was the granddaughter of the nurse. What makes it more strange is that this was in an entirely different state across the country from where the original incident had transpired.
I want to know how they figure that out? I assume something like: “I saved your life” “thanks! Hey, do you by chance recall the name of your doctor at birth?” “Ah yes, of course it was X” “no shit? That’s me! I saved your life too” But really. How.
