I actually really appreciate how the sight is on the side of the gun as opposed to the top. With his helmet there would be no way he could aim down the sights but since it is on the side the stock is not in the way, allowing him to aim.
This is coming from years of wearing an OPSCORE helmet (army helmet) and needing to push it up in order to get a proper sight picture.
