If there is one thing China is good at, at least within it's own borders, it's suppressing rebellion and then rewriting history. Your fellow countrymen will never know what happened, but the world will remember and then ignore because it's far away and not their problem (it's civil) and they're addicted to the cheap manufacturing... so the world spins on.

How many hong kongers are still on the streets protesting? I know that a few weeks (or months?) ago there were like hundreds of thousands of people.
