I remember distinctly my grandpa proudly telling me he had a special talent, that he could throw three coins on the floor and they'd always end up as a triangle. He did it, it blew my idiot kid mind, so I asked for a go and he of course goes crazy when I throw them and make a triangle saying stuff like "it must be a family skill!". Only remembered and realised years after he died, he was a lovely man.

my grandad taught me checkers as a kid. i beat him ONE time when i was like 10 and he never played me again. seriously, will never forget that
