I tried that.. only didn't eat all day and when they pulled the needle outta my arm I got light headed and started to heat up.. the nurse told me to just sit and relax I was ready to pass out. It was embarrassing because old lady's that just gave blood came over to see if I was alright. Went home drank beer and got pretty shit faced. Will try it again this Friday but will have lunch.
Even cuter idea: get shitfaced before you donate so the recipient of your blood gets a buzz. Kind of like an extremely illegal "get well soon" present.
