People sometimes need to be reminded that physical health, social health, and mental health are different things.

Edit: What I said here is that they are not independent with one another, but in fact, they are strongly correlated. What I mean 'different' is that there are different factors that makes one from another distinct, and they should not be ignored.

I try to fight my depression. It gets harder and harder everyday and even though my life’s not bad I still fight the urge to not jump off a bridge or a building. When I go hiking and I see a view from a cliff, I try my hardest not to walk off it. I don’t know why I still want to live, but I hope it’s for a reason. I am mentally ill. Sure it’s different from autism or Down syndrome, or brain damage, but I have a mental illness I have to fight alone every day. Sure therapists and meds and friends and family are there for you, but in the end it’s between you and it. Which one will win?
