There's a mental price point in everyone's head. It's what someone would have to pay them so that going through the risk and hassle of pirating all their favorite shows would be worth their time. Maybe for you that's $60 a month. Maybe for someone else it's $20.
The age of rampant digital piracy only came to an end because streaming services dipped below the average of everyone's price point. It will resume once it rises above it once more.
