This actually kinda happens. My Asian students emulate their favorite Youtubers when they speak. Every now and again you get someone obsessed with another movie or TV show but it's usually YouTube. Weirdly enough the kids who watch the most YouTube are usually better speakers than the kids who only study, even if they're constantly calling their teachers bro.
