To be fair, Black Americans have been calling each other the n-word for hundreds of years but there is no way my white ass is gonna call them that
Edit: This post made it to r/all, so I just want to clarify that I do not think that “boomer” and the n-word are the same thing. The n-word obviously has a lot more historical baggage and is more offensive than what is at most a mildly ageist quip. My comment was meant to be taken as jest, rather than in-depth commentary on changing age relations. Thanks.

I had a black person at work one time refer to my white ass as their nigga and I didn’t know how to respond. I just said thanks
