I worked with a guy who would often tell racist jokes.

He was my superior so I didn’t openly confront him about it for fear of retribution, but I would not laugh and I would shake my head and say “Man that’s not right.” He wouldn’t get the hint and just laughed harder.

So the next time he did it as soon as he finished I said “Oh that’s great, I gotta go tell the team that!” and he was like “No no, you can’t do that.” And I was like, “Sure I can, you said yourself it was hilarious.” And he was like “No, you can’t. We will get in trouble.” And I just acted dumb and shrugged and said “They seemed to like your other jokes I told them.”

He got a panicked look on his face, never told me another shitty joke again.
