As a physician, I would see this type of encounter as a big risk factor for an abusive home life. Not only would I never examine a young woman without a particular reason (hymen checking not being one of them) but I would also not share this info with the father even if he asked. It is not clinically relevant and is really no one’s business but the patient herself unless I suspected some kind of child abuse. At this point the only abuse I am worried about is that being perpetrated by her creepy and controlling father!

Here's the most fucked up part- he does this, and then he brags about it. Like, he expects people to support and endorse this, like it's a normal thing.

This guy is not just a creepy, overprotective father. He's delusional and needs help.
