Question:

Is this lander still there? Or can we assume it's been obliterated by Venus's active atmosphere and extreme temperatures?

If it's still there, how long will its physical form last?

Mostly just thinking that they expect Voyager's physical form to last, potentially, billions of years.

The picture was taken by the Soviet Venera spacecraft.

The original image was very poor quality but an American obtained copies of the original analog tapes and research including tracking down and interviewing members of the original Venera team. He then reprocessed the pictures to produce what you see here
