Why do they always talk down on somebody who used to work as a bartender? Whatever happened to the whole pull yourself up by your bootstraps? This is a woman who graduated with honors, worked slinging drinks to make ends meet, and beat an incumbent and won his seat with zero name recognition.
It almost seems like if AOC had a white collar job and a seven-figure house, they would respect her more automatically. Which in and of itself almost seems like conservatives don't respect working people and use their status as a laborer as a pejorative.
