My work shop is ready. I quit my job today to go full time here. I’m so thankful for everyone on Reddit for giving me the advice to build my business and the support to go through with my dream.

Beautiful products!

As a woodworker, I have two pieces of advice for you:

Keep asking yourself: "Why would someone buy my products and not someone else's. " Be honest with your answer! I know, your friends and family have said..." Hey! You make beautiful things - you should sell them!" But be brutal with yourself and your products.

Pay attention to the business side! It's all too tempting just to spend time designing and making new products and working in your beautiful workshop - but - you HAVE to pay attention to the business side. As well as marketing. If you have friends or family who have talents with these, ask them to volunteer to help you with those aspects.

Great and bountiful luck to you! I really hope you have as much success as you want. The problem with handmade items is... when the orders become so many that you have to set up a production line and that is just what you didn't want to happen.

And congratulations for having the courage to do what you love. :)

Just an observation, the oak and sapline cutting boards on your website just look like pieces of wood. I would choose different pictures or have products that stand out a bit better than this.
