Yup. Have come home catching my husband and kids were doing a last minute "disaster clean". Not a full clean, mind you, just enough cleaning so that it was not apparent they had done no cleaning the whole time I was away. (It was apparent.)
Are people actually like this? Is that why so many commercials treat married men like we're functionally unable to do simple maintenance of self and home?
Edit: I'll say for context that I'm marrried, and cleaner than my wife. I have to clean the kitchen twice a week or I just get angry.
