I did in-home nursing care for a girl with muscular dystrophy. She was mentally delayed due to abuse and neglect. But towards the end of my time with her I used to help her with makeup. It was always super fun watching her light up when she looked in the mirror when done.

It's not vapid to be proud of yourself. You go woman!

I'm going to share this post with her because it'll brighten her day immeasurably!
