It's also frustrating and takes way longer than you would think. Trying it myself right now. It's been a month and all I've gotten is one prescription that I took one pill out of, had one of the worst days of my life, and am now waiting for my real appointment with the psychiatrist to try something else instead of having my primary keep guessing and avoiding things that might actually help. Oh, and therapy isn't covered by my insurance, so it's pills or nothing.

It's actually fucking bonkers that it costs Americans money to get better. Fucking years of therapy and prescriptions cost me zero. How on earth Yanks can look at their system and defend it is beyond me.
