Salads like that - aka "pub salads" - are the fucking worst. I hate when it's all giant leaves and huge piece of tomato and entire rings of onion. Salads are only nice when they have a variety of nice ingredients chopped into smallish pieces. You get a more interesting variety of tastes with each mouthful, and you don't have to feel like you're a rabbit.
