The Republicans would actually take numbers like this and claim it is proof that they are persecuted for crimes more often than Democrats because Dems get away with there liberal tricks, then they would be oblivious to the hypocrisy when shown crime statistics showing black or Hispanic Americans being persecuted at a higher level than whites. Somehow for republican voters they would win both claims...

Nixon was pardoned by Ford which put an end to criminal prosecution.
Bush pardoned the players in the Iran Contra scandal to keep the investigation from getting to him.
Obama said "move forward" to supposedly reunite the country letting potentially dozens of crimes from the Bush administration to go unpunished.
Those numbers barely reflect just how criminal republican administrations have actually been.
