Behind me is our Kurdish interpreter, Khaleel, he saved enough of our lives that we gave him an honorary CIB(Combat Infantry Badge). What is happening to the Kurds makes me feel so much shame! I hope Khaleel, is content and safe these days!

I understand the emotion and sentiment but you should scramble his ‘face’ to make him unrecognizable and remove all info about this picture. There is a possibility that this picture, how well intended to be, could hurt him.
