This is a great picture and every time you post it it seems to get a lot of karma. Well done sir. This woman was the subject of a blog called shesnoplainjane that ran from 2009-2010, that was produced by her offspring. Jane is/was currently a make-up artist for the BBC. From the blog:
"When I was last back at the parent’s house, I had a nose through Jane’s old photos of when she was a teenager and begged her to send me some scans so I could add a touch of her young and hip 60’s style for y’all to see. So here comes the first of those scans, Jane when she was 17, with her first car - a Morris 1000. Jane tells me, “I resprayed it in the latest trendy colour of yellow ochre and my mates dubbed it the yellow submarine after the Beatles song of the time. Trouble was everyone knew where I was, as it was the only one like it in Cardiff at the time ...and I wasn't always where I should have been....!!”
And check out that outfit, apparently customised from a boyfriend’s shirt…Hahaha. I see you Ma sneaking out at midnight, ridin’ dirty in your Morris Minor, tying your PE shirt in a knot even when the teacher specifically asked you not to. Brilliant.
